CASTINE — Rebecca Allen, Joe Crowe, John Fairbanks and Jed Johnson were inducted to the Maine Maritime Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday as members of the 2018 class.Allen, a school volleyball legend, ranked first in the nation in aces per game in 2007. Her 63.0 attack percentage and average of 1.3 aces per set have remained school records since she graduated in 2008.Crowe, a 2006 graduate, was a two-time first-team selection to the All-New England Football Conference team. During his time as an offensive lineman, the Mariners won two Admiral’s Cups and reached an Eastern College Athletic Conference bowl game.Fairbanks played offense, defense and even kicker for the MMA football team prior to graduating in 1952.
