Waymo One Autonomous Car Service Rolls Out to Public

Accept by pressing the “Request Ride” button.Up to three adults and a child can ride at once.As the novelty of self-driving transportation has yet to wear off (and likely won’t for another decade), most first-timers have a lot of questions and concerns about their autonomous commute.So Waymo put support front and center with in-car consoles and screens, as well as the mobile app.“Self-driving technology is new to many, so we’re proceeding carefully with te comfort and convenience of our riders in mind,” Waymo CEO John Krafcik said in a separate blog post.Initially, trained drivers will supervise all Waymo One vehicles for users’ comfort and convenience.
