Vivo V9 Pro launched in India: Full specs, price and everything you should know

first_imgVivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone in India called the V9 Pro. This is the successor to the V9 which was launched in India back in March this year. The V9 Pro has been launched in the country for an introductory price of Rs 17,990. With the V9 Pro, Vivo will be looking to take on some similar price segment phones from Xiaomi, Motorola, Nokia and Huawei. As far as the design is concerned, the V9 Pro looks a lot like the V9. Both the phones come with a notched display, dual rear camera setup, and a big 6.3-inch screen.Being the Pro version, the V9 Pro technically should have been expensive than the V9, but that’s not the case. The V9 Pro is much cheaper than the V9. To recollect, the V9 Pro was launched in the country with a price tag of Rs 22,990. The lower price is however justifiable considering Vivo has compromised on the camera department of the V9 Pro. On the rear panel, the V9 Pro consists of a 13MP primary camera and 2MP secondary sensor, while on the front the phone includes a 16MP selfie shooter. The V9, in comparison, comes with a 16MP +5MP camera setup on the rear and includes a 24MP sensor on the front. The same hardware setup was found inside the V11 Pro and it was power house. The same is expected of the V9 Pro. Like the V11 Pro, the Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset will let V9 Pro to handle heavy GPU games smoothly, without any sign of stutters or lags. –The V9 Pro comes with game mode which is also found inside its predecessor, V9. With the game mode, users can overall have a seamless and uninterrupted gaming experience.–The smartphone comes with AI powered cameras on both from and back. The rear camera of the V9 Pro comes with AI based features like AI Bokeh, AI HDR, among others. V9 Pro also comes with the ability to adjust the background blur after the picture has been clicked. The V9 Pro is currently listed on Amazon India website with the “Notify me” option, on clicking which the online retailer will notify the customer when the phone comes in stock.
